The only downside of crafty type food is a slightly higher price. These are not construction site food trucks, they are run by "foodie" type people and have some quality food on board. For your food needs, they enlist food trucks from various restaurants and caterers in the area to come and set up shop. ![]() They have a ton of beers on tap, plus wine and other refreshments. Therefore you probably want to go when it is not raining or wet. Most of the tables are distributed outside on the lawn, but there are some covered under a patio area by the bar. A good thing to note is that its also cooler and less humid here than San Antonio since it is in the "hill country." So if it is hot and steamy in San Antonio or surrounding areas, there is a good chance it will be more pleasant here. Its a great place to go when the weather is nice. There is a stage there which often has someone playing or singing live music. It is a several acre property with lots of parking, tables to sit at, and a play area for kids. It has the feel of hanging out in someones back yard, rather than a bar. Someone took you there (this was the case with me). Its a couple miles off of I-10 in Boerne, and a place you would probably never know about unless I think it used to be a house or farm back in the day and someone purchased it and converted it into a nice place to hang out. Random is a great way to describe this place.
